Controller
Description: Must have 5 years experience in accounting and working with accounting software. The responsibilities include managing financials and implementing process improvements for a small business. This position will report to the COO.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and categorize payables
- Enter receivables
- Prepare checks
- Enter expenses for payroll reimbursement
- Reconcile expenses and confirm contractual and policy compliance
- Record checks
- Quarterly payroll taxes filed
- Manage QB payroll
- Prepare annual accounting data for tax accountant
- Worker's comp reporting
- Add/Change/Delete employees and contractors
- Monthly bank and credit card reconciliation
- Month end close – prepare P&L, balance sheet, and income statement
- Invoicing
- Manage QuickBooks Data and month end/annual close
- Cash flow statement prep
- Ad hoc reporting
- Management of insurance coverage
Required Skills:
- Experience with services billing – T&E entry and billing, project cost allocation
- QuickBooks 2010 Pro
- Knowledge and use of GAAP
- Preferable experience with a PSA tool such as Tenrox
- Proficient with MicroSoft Excel
- CPA

Senior Consultant
Must have a strong procedural and/or 4GL foundation with transactional coding development and/or admin experience, J2EE development experience a plus. The candidate must have 5+ years using specific IBM Rational, WebSphere, VisualAge products or related tools. The candidate must have 5 or more years experience in a large enterprise environment using different computing platforms (preferably System i and/or System z) with proven experience in systems/component analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance on various environments, including multi-tier applications. Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills are required for interaction with all levels of management. The position will involve performing projects for multiple clients either at the client site or via telecommuting. Up to 75% travel is required.
Rational Business Developer extension and Enterprise Generation Language (EGL) skills needed and/or one of the following:
- Rational Developer for System z
- Rational Application Developer
- WebSphere Development Studio Client
- VisualAge Generator
- VAGen
- Cross System Product (CSP)
Main responsibilities:
- Billing assignments around core technologies.
- Developing proof of concept, prototypes, and overall system architecture as needed for pre-sales support and post-sales implementation.
- Act as subject matter expert in IBM Rational Business Developer extension and Enterprise Generation Language (EGL) technologies.
- Develop methodology and practices for creation and management of re-usable solution assets software, architecture, and methodology.
- Promote solutions actively to prospects, customers, investors, partners, press, analysts, etc
- Facilitate development of relationships with key business partners.
- Participate in key recruiting and career development activities
Required Skills:
- 5 or more years of experience in procedural and/or 4GL development (CSP, VAGen, I4GL, RPG, COBOL)
- 5 or more years with iSeries and/or zSeries application platforms
- Experience with model/view/controller architecture and integration of web client technology with existing transactional applications. This includes experience with deployment and migration strategies, site topology, and client development
- Strong systems, problem solving and analytical skills; excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Highly effective time management and organizational skills
