Austin, TX - Ascendant Technology, a leading provider of SOA, portal and business integration solutions, and ClearBlade LLC, a leading provider of modernization and migration solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with to provide Enterprise Modernization consulting services utilizing IBM's best of breed Rational suite of software products. Specifically, ClearBlade will be focused on providing technology assessment, migration, and development services for transforming of legacy applications to IBM's Enterprise Generation Language (EGL).

Ascendant will work with ClearBlade to provide pre-sales support to IBM field sales personnel to help qualify and close key Rational and EGL software sales and services.
