02.18.2008    CLEARBLADE TO PRESENT IN ATECH'S ZEN MASTER SERIES

ClearBlade is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Maurie James to head operations for the company. Her responsibilities will include overseeing delivery of high-quality solutions & services, in aligning appropriate ClearBlade resources and logistics to ensure client objectives and expectations are exceeded. Maurie has over 21 years of experience in systems engineering and software development. Prior to joining ClearBlade, she served as Division Director for Noblestar, and was responsible for the profit and loss and business management for all Western division operations. She managed the business development, client relationships, and staffing and was responsible for year after year growth, 28% profitability, 80% consistent utilization, $7 million in revenue, and 50% net margins during a down turned market. The Western Division represented 77% of the profitability for the global company and 40% of the total revenue with 25% of the total headcount.

Ms. James was responsible for creating a technology focused practice for Deloitte and Touche Consulting Group. The core of this group later became the services arm for Austin Software Foundry. As part owner of Austin Software Foundry, (ASF) and Managing Director of the services arm, she assisted in seeking out an acquisition strategy to allow for necessary growth. ASF was a $3 million software and consulting firm which was acquired by Noblestar in 1998.

Prior to her successes with business creation and management, Ms. James spent several years assisting clients with organizational assessments, project and process management, and change management as part of several consulting firms, including Ernst and Young as well as her own independent firm in Houston, TX. Ms. James continues to work in an advisory capacity to her clients on the topics of strategic planning, process adoption, and restructuring to gain organizational efficiency.

Ms. James holds a BBA in Data Processing and Analysis (MIS) from the University of Texas in Austin, TX.
