On Oct 12, 2022, we announced the release of ClearBlade Lagoon.  The Lagoon release is a major step forward for ClearBlade with the launch of our new product IoT Core being made available to the general public.  In addition, key capabilities for the IoT Enterprise and IoT Edge are now in the hands of developers.  As always, Intelligent Assets is easier and faster for new operational users to acquire and understand their assets.

Familiar Developer Console – ClearBlade IoT Core provides a fully capable implementation of Google Cloud IoT Core developer console allowing for provisioning devices, monitoring status of IoT Solutions, and sending config and commands.

Enterprise Grade Migration Tool – A powerful based CLI that allows for migrating device batches to meet all the needs of developers as they remap their IoT Solution for 100% up time.

Flexible Trust and Certificates – In addition to a simple migration and fully complementary IoT Core offer, ClearBlade now includes the ability and configuration for providing TLS termination with custom domains. Now, customers can control their network.

IoT Enterprise & Edge

Native Google Cloud Logging Integration – Existing ClearBlade logging integrations with Loki, Datadog, and splunk have been expanded to include Google Cloud Logging as an out of the box target to keep all your logs in one place

Certificate based authentication for devices – ClearBlade now natively honors certificate based auth over MQTT passed via the connect password field as a JWT token.  This secure offering provides new flexibility to embedded device developers to select the authentication model correct for their use case.

Improved Log Viewer – Service logs generated by microservice and stream services are now easier than ever to search, discover and maintain with an enhanced log viewer in the console.

INTELLIGENT ASSETS 

Simplified User Group Roles – Managing user permissions has gotten even easier with group based roles to granularly control view and editor at each level of the application from assets and areas to rules and actions.

Dashboards – An enhanced dashboard experience for time ranges and data viewing. Users can quick-select a predefined time range or create a custom time interval and can group attribute data by its unique ancestor asset or by ancestor asset type.
